Am I contractually bound to use talkaDoc.com?

Absolutely not. We operate on a monthly subscription model. In case of any dissatisfaction, you can opt out anytime and all your proprietary data will be returned.

Is talkaDoc.com easy to use?

Absolutely yes, talkaDoc.com was designed to be user-friendly. However, we will train you and your team once you subscribe with us. We are always available to assist you through our friendly Customer Relationship team through phone or in-person.

Will my staff or I spend more time on the talkaDoc.com?

Like all new products there is a learning curve associated. We will personally assist you at every step during the initial phase. We will help you and your team ramp up quickly so you’ll soon reap the long-term benefits.

Does talkaDoc.com have a Trial period?

Yes. talkaDoc.com has a free trial period of 30 days, after which you can choose from one of our subscription plans or opt-out.

My connection isn’t very good. What can I do?

Firstly, enable your WIFI. If your wireless router is far from where you are sitting, you will need to move close to the router. This can greatly improve the speed of your connection and quality of your experience. You can enable WIFI on most phones by going to SETTINGS and then selecting WIFI.  If the streaming is poor please contact your internet service provider.

How much does it cost?

The cost of talkaDoc is free. However, the cost of tele-consultation depends on the consultation fee of the Doctor.

What type of equipment do I need for a Doctor visit?

For tele-consultaions, you will need to have internet connectivity and a webcam.

Can I get a prescription?

talkaDoc does not guarantee a prescription. It is up to the Doctor to recommend the best treatment.

Is my electronic health record kept private?

Health records are kept totally private and we employ robust encryption methods to protect your personal information. You determine who can see the information in your record.

Do I have to upload an image?

Yes, talkaDoc will require you to upload your image so that Doctors can review and diagnose your condition correctly.

Are the Doctors real Doctors?

All Doctors are licensed and board certified.

Do I have to schedule an appointment or can I just call and get the next available time?

All appointments must be scheduled and does not support on demand option at this time.

Can I talk to the same specialist each time I request a visit?

Yes. A patient can choose to see the same specialist or a different one. It’s your choice.

How secure is the communication line and who retains my medical records?

Confidentiality is very important to talkaDoc and we follow the same strict security protocols as we do for our core services. All medical records are kept in a secure environment and talkaDoc does not share the information with anyone outside of the patient’s specific request or as required by law.

Can I select my doctor based on preferences such as specialty, gender?

Our Doctors profiles display information about each professional, including gender and specialty. This information will display when making your specialist selection online
